“The Buck Stops Here: Creating & Maintaining a Culture of Accountability” - explore the concept of accountability as a leadership principle from multiple perspectives. Leaders do not blame others for what happens, they make things right.

Presented by Tim McKay, Battalion Chief with Chesterfield County Fire & EMS: “Low Frequency, High Risk Events: Wicklow Lane Multiple Fatality House Fire” - a case study of the deadliest fire in Chesterfield County’s recent history. Discuss fire behavior, risk benefit, critical decision-making and crew integrity as keys to successful operations.

Presented by Joy Kniceley, Battalion Chief & Brian Warshawsky, Lieutenant with Chesterfield County Fire & EMS. Company Officer Shakers Forum - a facilitated discussion allowing participants to provide questions to be answered by a panel of ; career fire chief, volunteer fire chief, and several experienced company officers. Learn from the significant experiences the panel will represent.
