The Virginia Fire Chiefs’ Association (VFCA) is very excited to deliver the next residential Virginia Fire Officer Academy (VFOA) in June 2025. This 6-day residential program is designed to develop the leadership skills of aspiring and new company officers across the Commonwealth of Virginia.  All meals and lodging will be provided.  Ensure you are submitting your application to the correct academy. Applications submitted to the incorrect academy will not be considered.  Additionally, please check all of your calendars (personal, department, etc.) prior to applying to prevent any conflicts.

Selected students will arrive in Richmond on Sunday and will be required to stay in provided lodging.  Course work will occur from Sunday afternoon through Friday afternoon.

THIS IS A RESIDENTIAL ACADEMY AND STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE 100% ATTENDANCE.
