Participants Brave Wet Weather in Colonial Williamsburg to Support VFCA
In a spirited display of community and perseverance, runners and walkers braved the rain to participate in a 5k run/walk and a 1-mile kids fun run through the historic streets of Colonial Williamsburg yesterday. The event, aimed at supporting the Virginia Fire Chiefs Foundation, began at the iconic Bruton Parish Church and took participants on a scenic journey past some of Williamsburg’s most historic landmarks.
VFCA SAFER Grant Funds Available
The Virginia Fire Chiefs Association (VFCA) has SAFER grant funds available to assist volunteer and combination departments in the delivery of basic and advanced firefighter training, leadership training, and other training related to the recruitment and retention of volunteer firefighters.
